I am certainly not the most qualified to bring this up, but since I haven't
seen any responses stating this yet...
I was doing a Pow-Wow presentation on Boy Scouts to Webelos leaders a couple
of weeks ago, and this was brought up. If the boy joins the troop and is
not yet 10 1/2, and he completes the Boy Scout joining requirements (Scout
Badge), there could be an issue when he submits his Eagle Scout application
that he joined the troop when he was too young to do so.
After the session, I asked for a clarification on this from our Council
Advancement chairman, and haven't heard back yet. Just wanted to bring this
up. Can someone confirm whether this could be a problem?
