In our District we are trying to setup 2 food drives this year. We put the
bags out this past Saturday morning for the Thanksgiving drive. An ideal has
been tossed around at our leader meeting concerning the aspect of Y2K.
Regardless of how you believe, many, many people are stocking up on staples
for this event. Should nothing drastic occur; there will be a lot of folks
with a lot of extra staples in their cubbards. We have decided should
nothing drastic occur, we will try to organize another food drive towards
the end of January. The thought is that people will be glad of the fact
they did not need the supplies and will donate them to those that are in
