Although this is technically correct, it does violate a principle
that seems fair: money (at least at the unit level) should be spent
on the Scouts that earned it. I wouldn't think this troop piled up
$7,000 in a year or two.
We're getting into why BSA discourages units from owning motor vehicles,
but that's another thread.
