I would submit that "belong to" is used here in the sense of "are members
of", not "are property of", though that is quite frequently not the case,
either (in the 5 years I was in Troop 49, we had 2 adults & 3 youth who were
actually members of our CO).
However, while I was pecking out my post, Mike was sending his - I sent mine,
then saw his. I will bow to his superior pile'o'resources and admit the
error of my ways.
