Just wanted to pass along a follow up on what I reported about
initiations during Band Camp.
I had to go all the way up to the superintendent of schools. She called

I believe that all parties are now better aware of what goes on during
band camp. Changes needed to be made and I was assured that they will.
They will still have a Rookie Day. I still do not agree that it is all
fun, but with the changes, it will not cause harm.
Now the big question, will I let my daughter attend next years camp? If
I had to sign up today, the answer will be no. Maybe by the time August
rolls around I would have changed my mind.
