Recently, I was in the presence of a teen-aged boy who drank a quart of the
stuff at breakfast. His beverages throughout the day were OJ and
Co'Cola. No milk, no water.
In non-related conversations, the boy said things that might suggest he
doesn't drink water because of the potential pollutants and no milk
because of the potential health risks. However OJ and Co'Cola don't
seem to me to offer significant improvements in either area.
If this is a common situation with teenage boys, how is it accommodated
on campouts? And, if it's common but isn't being accommodated, how is
that impacting the program?
