While Bruce may be right I don't of any group with the scope that BSA has.
The BSA cuts accross all the lines and concentrates on the boy and his
development. At 52 ( I'm growing old and feeble , And I can Eagle no more)
I have seen a major change in what is presented to boys since I was that
age. My sons are 19 and 16 and they are not getting this anywhere else I
will guarentee you. This is a much harsher society than I was born into.
While there are church programs and similiar ones their audience is usually
much more limited.
Bruce, with all due respect I will continue to tell people that this the
ONLY programs that I know of that is working so hard with youth to preseve
family values and good citizenship against the onslaught of society.
