I hope to get an answer to a question that has been on my mind for a few
WHen I was at woodbadge, (10 years ago in a totally different part of
the country), I was told that only the CURRENT United States Flag gets
folded in a triangle. All other Historic US Flags (Spirit of 76, Betsy
Ross, Stars and Stripes, etc.) get folded into a normal
square/rectangle. This way the current flag is easily distinguishable.
However, I recently attended a camp-out, and the historic flag was
folded into a triangle. When I asked about it, I was told ALL US flags
(current and historic) are folded into triangles. Does anybody out there
know the correct way to fold historic flags?
