UNCLE! UNCLE! UNCLE ALREADY!!!
Geeze Louise, some of you guys are touchy. :-)
What would you have done if I had said something
that really mattered like, "Your mother wears
combat boots"? Now "that" I could understand an
attitude over. Whew!
I thought I said I wasn't an expert on pc's? Anyway,
when I went to work I checked with our resident pc
technogeeks (he said with a smile :-) and,
by gosh by golly gee whiz, they agreed with ya'll.
That cute little date display manipulation indeed
has no effect on any software on the pc, including
the operating system. And, if I was a little more awake
(take a gander at the time of my post), I would have
realized (additionally) that you certainly can't make
any setting change on your pc now that would have
any effect of future software that you might install
which might switch your pc back to being non compliant.
Makes sense, ehh? Surrrrrrre, nowww it does.
(It sure did seem to make sense at midnight last night.)
Then when I got home, all ready to correct the error of
my ways, you guys had beat me to it. Did I say "beat"?
Ok, I'm ready for my 50 lashes with a wet noodle.
There, I was wrong. Ahhhh, I can feel the absolution
spreading over me like molasses on a hot tin roof.
Keep up the good work guys. (CT are ya listening?)
I'm glad ya'll caught my blunder. (And here I am with
a web site that sells computers. What "will" Momma
Like Grandad always used to say,
"The day I can't learn something ...
start shoveling the dirt on me".
Have a great Scouting day,
Cubmaster (and now an "outed" pc illiterate)
