Scouts-L Mail Archive for August of 1999: Re: Bears

I just returned from PTC, where my son and I went on the Webelos
overnighter. I was astounded to learn of all the things that had to go
in the bear bag - washcloths that had been exposed to soap, toothbrushes
that had been in contact with toothpaste (I think the regular crews use
new toothbrushes and no toothpaste, but the Webelos didn't purchase new
ones for the overnight), film, cameras, chapstick, etc. Does anyone know
of an internet site that lists everything that should go in the bear
bag? There might be many more of which I'm unaware, simply because no
one happened to show up with those items.
