Please hold on a minute while I change from my "Scouter" hat to my "Chairman
of the local School Board" hat. Ah, there we go.
While this may sound good, it would almost certainly be illegal. Most
states (I would guess all) have some form of Data Privacy laws, and there
are a number of federal ones as well. Health information about a specific
student falls under these laws. Even with a release signed by the parents,
no school would release such information to another organization for fear of
lawsuits. Please don't put your school's health personnel in a tight
position by asking for it.
