That is because we have been successful in defending our position that we
are a private organization with the right of setting our own membership.
Now, in New Jersey at least, we no longer have that protection. I believe
that under this ruling a unit could not deny membership or leadership to
anyone if the reason for that denial is that they are a member of a class
"protected" by N.J. law. Note that this ruling would also apply to the
other two of the three G's.
