During my time at Philmont, we found Thorns and Roses a very useful tool. It
allowed the person to get something off his chest without reprecussions - Rule 1
(as stated by another on the list) once said in T&R, it was done ... Rule 2 - we
didn't always have thorns, but if you did, you had to give a Rose... Roses were
free, Thorns cost you a rose... Always ended w/ a rose - make it end on a
Hope to be going back next year - if our council HA committee ever decides on
which leaders will attend (hrmmmph)...
