No, Please .. I happen to agree with you.. but the "problem" is how can
the Advancement Comm. "slow down" a Scout without raising the ire of
everyone from the Scout's parents (usually the ones who are pushing the
boy) to National...
As has been discussed infinitum here in this group.. the BoR has indeed
become a "rubber stamping" process with it almost taking a no-show by a
Scout to not pass....
I wish I knew how... Earlier this month at our own boR's which I head
three Scouts who bridged in March and going for Tenderfoot were asked about
"becoming an Eagle Scout" and all three replyed that it looked good on
a college application.... now you tell me was this the boys speaking
or their parents....?
