Well, that good old family spirit has been working amongst us again!
Awhile back, one of the webmaster's for a very special web site
contacted me and volunteered to put my brochure on the web to make it
available to all of you. Today, I have been informed that it is ready
to be viewed! I am so thrilled that I am having trouble writing this
message. My fingers just WILL NOT cooperate!! Please check out:
The timing is wonderful too, Tony! Thanks so very much for making it
possible to share this with everyone!! If I can just help one SM to
not experience the week of "Summer Camp at Hell", I will be satisfied.
One of my most cherished friends prompted the writing of this brochure.
He took a troop of boys to summer camp one year, discovering as the
boys were loading into cars to leave; that FIVE of them had AD/HD. He
knew next to nothing about AD/HD but was assured that the Scouts had
medication (but was given no details about the meds.) He did NOT have
a good experience that week and vowed by week's end that he would NEVER
take Scouts to camp again! My goal was to help assure that nobody went
through that again. Hope this helps someone out there.
