Again you neighborhood pharmacist. Enteric coated aspirin is fine for the
daily dose for prevention. If, however, the patient is experiencing chest
pain (911 time), you want to administer a regular aspirin then dial 911. You
need it to disolve quickly and get into the blood stream. Enteric aspirin
won;t do this! Some even suggest chewing (yuck) the tablet.
