My question for you would be, how does Scouting for Food help the scouting
organization, not the community? Here in Albuquerque, when we did
Scouting for Food, all the food was given to local charities and food
banks, not to a scouting organization, like say, summer camp.
IMHO, Scouting for Food definately benefits the local community. The only
thing different about it, is that it's organized on a much larger basis
than most other service projects.
Besides, where does it say that service time (except for Eagle) can't
