The countries in Far East Council (at least when I was in it in 1986 as a
youth) were Japan(with Okinawa as a separate district, I believe), South
Korea, Taiwan(ROC),Philippines and Thailand. The CSPs over the
last 25 years have shown a map of the council and I haven't seen any
change in the CSP since Hong Kong went direct service.
Taiwan District while I was there was the smallest district in BSA that
wasn't direct service. Three troops and two packs.
At one time part of Troop 91 (and then 96), Taiwan District.
