'Preciate the sentiment, Marcel, and the impulse to "do something."
However, as to human-transmitted viruses, this is the very *worst*
opportunity you could pick to encourage activity, since if good people
"did nothing" instead of passing it on, this HTV would quickly die, to
the benefit of all.

. . . and those who know nothing about the HTV's masquerading as urban
legends are vulnerable to clogging cyberspace with bogus warnings. My
point is, before you are tempted to become an electronic Paul Revere
spreading dire warnings to everyone in your address book, BE SURE FROM
*PERSONAL EXPERIENCE* THAT THE WARNING IS GENUINE. Even then, I'd be
inclined to pass, since there are many more authoritative sources than
me, and I'm sure that, if the warning *did* get to me, others have
already seen to spreading the warning.
