Summer Camp Experiences

This summer I've been given the honor of being the Head Camp Commissioner at
Connecticut Yankee Council's resident camp Sequassen. This weekend, I
attended the Northeastern Region weekend Camp School, part one.
I'm curious to hear about your experiences at your own summer camps. Mainly
about how campsite visitations (inspections) are performed. When are the
results of these inspections given back to the troop? I would also like to
know of any programs which keep you going to that same camp year after year.
How does your camp promote the patrol methods in scouting? What does your
camp do to make your dinning hall session more fun for everyone? Most of
all, I'd like to know what really makes you mad about summer camp.
Thank you in advance for your response, please get back to me personally at
