But if you're from a small unit, like mine, people wear several hats,
some of which are not always in line with official BSA policy. Heck, I
once masqueraded as a Tenderfoot for 3 weeks, just so a new Patrol
Leader would have someone to boss around (just kidding!).
Committee Chairman is a good position, because you get to (aka, have
to) look at the Big Picture. The downside is that you are sometime
distanced from the boys, especially in a bigger troop.
The bottom line, is that it is what you make it. Every unit's
