Well this is the scenario........
You are reforming a new group and have children from the ages of 6 to 12 who
will be involved.
None have been exposed to the "Guiding/Scouting" game before, so yes BP is
the sign you see above some petrol stations.
What do you consider to be the basics that these children should learn?
How would you go about it?
Do you have any great games/activities that will teach them these basics?
Your help for the above will be greatly appreciated, l can use as a check
list for myself! It is ten years since l was a Cub Leader and 2 years since
l was a Leader in Guiding , so the memory always needs prompting!
I have worked with both sexes before, but never as a joint group...... l
have also had little experience with the youngest age group.
Oops it may also be revelent to mention that many of the parents have not
had Scouting/Guiding experience also!
