There are a few things to keep in mind.
The elected peron must go through the Ordeal no more than 12 months
after election. That simply means that there should be less that 12
months between the election and any concurring Ordeal.
And it may behoove your troop to have elections as late as possible to
give more boys the chance to be eligible. So more Scouts will have
achieved first class and can be included in the vote.
