Here in Mobile, AL, I'm aware of a couple I consider kinda cool... I know both
have been around for quite awhile, several successions of boys as it used to be
done... One is the "Nature Navigators". The other is called the Hurricane
patrol, appropriate for Mobile, but whats neat is their patrol medallion. They
use a Pine Tree medallion, turned about 45 degrees to one side! Clever! For a
period there was a "Cool Cat" patrol in my troop. They affected sunglasses and
seemed to want to turn their collars up.
