Don't be fooled by those who quote the Insignia Guide.
Imitation of a Uniform requires the imitation of a Uniform. BDUs
with a Scout Shirt in no way "imitates" the appearance of any
United States Army, Navy, or Marine Corps uniform.
Does the Army, Navy or Marine Corps even use Olive Drab BDUs? If
so, are they worn with anything resembling a Scout Shirt? No. If
they did, then the Official Uniform itself would be in violation of
the Congressional Charter.
The BSA is like a high school frat where pledges are forced to wear
the nerdy and dweeb clothing of clueless authoritarian adults.
Only in the BSA the pledging never ends.
The time for this hazing is over.
And a good old Uniform Police Academy graduate too!
