Not at all. Our Winter Camporee occurred in falling, wet snow that
melted not long after contact with people. Anyone dependent on cotton
would have come down with hypothermia in short order. My outer
Gore-Tex shell soaked through, and I was in four layers of wool that
got varying degrees wet.
