I do realize the natural tenure for a CS leader is much shorter than BS
but if you get a parent of a Tiger Cub interested than you have them for
5 years. Plenty of time to create and employ a great leader. His
leadership will provide interest for other to become leaders.
I'm not as certain about "natural tenure" for CS leaders as everyone esle
seems to be. In our Pack we have parents who are involved for longer than just
five years. My family has been involved for 6-7 years because of the spacing
of our sons and we're not alone. We have several families with at least two
sons in the pack spaced far about--Tiger and Second year Webelos. We're
looking forward to the return of one familiy whose oldest son crossed over
last year and the youngest son will be a Tiger next year.
Just my two cents...
