Agreed: these would be positive images of Scouts. Counterpoint: could they be
seen as promoting a commercial product (i.e., a TV show)?
Maybe we just have to say no to that kind of exposure. On the other hand, I
loved "Follow Me Boys" from its first theatrical release, and as a motion
picture, it is a commercial product.
IMHO, there hasn't been a lot of redeeming social value in the Money Store
commercial. It hasn't generated a single comment from coworkers, who know I
am involved with Scouting.
