Incorrect. Cub Scouting is a division, Boy Scouting is a division, Venturing
is a division. Being registered in Venturing and completing rank is not
something that occurs because they are "part of Boy Scouts". Advancement is
allowed to continue to age 18 in the Boy Scout program and Venturing allows a
youth - provided he has met certain requirements - to continue that
In fact, I know that when an Eagle problem occurs while the youth is a
Venturer that it is not considered a problem for Boy Scout Advancement (not
that I've had any problems I've had to ask about - yeah, right. I spent a
month on what the uniform is alone).
