Is this a national guideline?
This is not the troop that I am associated with.

No changing of patrols either? I think there are no semi-permanent
assignments except perhaps your Wood Badge patrol, and anyone who has taken WB
knows how suggested changes are received in that forum.
So if a boy joins Troop A and his friend joins Troop B, and after a year the
boy is not happy with Troop A and he likes what he hears about Troop B and his
FRIEND is there he can't change? So instead he drops out? Well we kept from
losing another scout to those dirty guys in Troop B, he just quit outright.
Is this considered a moral victory for Troop A? Seems like the equivalent to,
"Better dead than red".
Ask this question of your District Commisioner and let them inform the other
troop about their misinformation.
