My council office will not award the AOL if the Boy Scout Application
has been turned in to them. They say "the system" won't accept it. We
overlooked an AOL (we have a new advancement crew this year) last year
and had to go around the rules by ordering a 'replacement AOL' to award
to the boy. I hated to do it but... This boy will not have the official
AOL on his record.
