Since you are in Maryland, you might try Crestar, Maryland. Our troop is in
Virginia and we use Crestar, Virginia. They have some sort of account for
"not for profit" entities that charges minimal or no service charge. We have
to keep a minimum balance of a few hundred dollars. We got the money via a
one time gift from our original chartered partner, since they also wanted us
to have a checking account.
