2. The backing strip is a 3" to 4" long piece of min-blind slat. You

out. One blind has enough material for hundreds of nametags. I like
the corners back about 1/16" to 1/8" to eliminate the pointy corners.
[Dotson, Woodrow] Some mini-blinds contain lead in them. This was
brought out on one of the news magazines or the local news some time
ago. Some kids were getting lead poisoning from sucking on the blinds.
The act of cutting these blinds will create dust and this could lead
to lead poisoning for the cutter. Be cautious.
