Intercultural education through international cooperation and solidarity
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February 1999, Ma Maria Eugenia, Rome.
A meeting to:
- share experiences of international solidarity and pinpoint the know-how
of the Associations;
- evaluate the possibilities of involvement of Scout Associations in the
international co-operation movement;
- define strateges for multicultural education based on italian
The seminar is aimed at:
- scout leaders who are already aware of the international nature of the
Scout/Guide movement, in particular with regard to unit twinning, youth
exchange programs, activities and volunteer service abroad;
- national and regional executives;
- members of International Teams of Scout/Guide Associations.

Representatives of WAGGGS and WOSM
(stimuli to redefine specific attitudes, strategies and
