Thanks to all of you for your comments. Both positive and negative. This
is the first time I have been involved with a c hat page and I guess
that I went in feet first.
If I canme out in the letter I wrote as being entirely negative about
all this. I APOLOGIZE. However, I have seen too many boys drop out of
the program over the years, because the program was not followed through
as it should have been by a leader or by the pack. IF I hjave made a
difference in wh at I have said to all of you. Then a pat on the back to
me. AGain my biggest concern is that the boys and the parents get the
most out of scouting. The time for our youth goes very quickly and they
deserve to have the very best that we can give them. To my friend in
Oklahoma. That is a great idea with using other themes. Perhaps I was
not clear enough that this is perfectly fine. Just have some sort of
format each month to follow, whether it is from the Scouting planning
book or whatever. Thanks again to all of you for your input.
Thank you to George Hamilton from Maine. This is like old home week as
my descendants came from Maine 300 years ago ( Libby) and your vote of
confidence in what I was trying to say was appreciated ..
A friend in scouting!!!

You know that is where my family originated from 300 years ago. I miss
that part of the country. but, do not miss the cold or the humidity.
