I personally have been to 5 different camps in 3 different councils....
Baden Powell, Bergen (now Northen New Jersey), and Blue Ridge Mt councils.
In all these councils the troops were supplied with canvas wall tents that
sleep 2. In all the camps though, they did have some room that you could
set up tents of your own too.
I believe this is the norm because troops generally spend 1 to 2 weeks at a
camp, and living in one of the Eureka Timberline, 2 man version (the most
popular tent for troops, as far as I have seen)would be uncomfortable, and
really a pain in the neck to live out of for 1-2 weeks. The wall tents are
better because you can stand up in them and store more stuff in them.
