Several years ago I heard of a program from another Roundtable Comm.
Their Roundtable had "Hike of the Month" and "Menu of the Month"
These were presented to the group by scouters who volunteered
at the Aug. Roundtable. There are all types of presentations.
Slides of hikes and maps handed out to just the marked maps.
The menu usually was printed and handed out with explanations
and questions answered.
One Scoutmaster in particular came up with day hikes in our local
community that only then we found out about.
I sent a post card reminder about two weeks before the event.
