I hope some of you enjoyed reading the post by Bernadette Moran Curry

Bernadette, and everyone reading this, I submit to you, that what
Bernadette is hoping for, seeing this young boy stride toward his Eagle,
and feeling the pride of being there when, is quite honestly, a feeling
like no other.
To work with and enjoy a wild-eyed beautiful young boy in Cub Scouting,
and then sort of watch out of the corner of your eye, as he steadily
advances, matures, gets taller AND better looking than you...
and then finally, he walks up to you, grinning from ear to ear with an
invitation in his hand. It's choke time. And you look up at him, tears
running down your face and say, "What Took Ya So Long?"
Scouters, and especially Bernadette, I hope you know this incredible
feeling at least once in your Scouting career. For me, this is what I
came for, ohhhh brother, is it ever. I've been there 6 times, as the
boys say, "Man, It's AWESOME!!!"
Thanks for Listening!
