What is the worst that can happen? He likely will not earn the pin with
the rest of the den. Same thing happens if you skip working on that pin,
except the rest of the den doesn't earn it either.
But, what if he gets caught up in the group effort and tries to make a
change in his life. A slim chance, probably, but it could happen. But
only if the den works together on the Scholar pin.
