In his shoes I would not approve any more projects since the Council has
clearly taken that authority away. If the Council is over-riding the
District Advancement Chair what's the point in having the position. I would
not allow myself to be put in the position of telling a Scout that a project
which had been approved & completed has been "unapproved"
Sounds like someone is trying to grab power.
As to what kind of projects are to be allowed, I think that they'd better
get that information out ASAP.
And what will they do if a project was approved completed before 1/1/99 but
the BoR was after that date? We have one Scout who completed his project
almost 2 years ago but has just now completed his other requirements. Would
he have to do another project?
