The course outline for the one-weekend SMF training is buried in the
back of the SMF training manual that came out about 1-1/2 years ago.
BSA included it, but doesn't really recommend it.
We tried it in the fall of 1997. We had a good turn out, and everyone
had fun. But some of the attendees said it was like drinking from the
end of a fire hose.
We now want to try a modified course. We intend to hold a single, one
day in-door session, where we show most of the videos and hold the model
troop meeting. The indoor session is a prerequisite for the outdoor
