Here in the Golden Spread Council in the Texas panhandle, our JLT is
called Nagataman....its an Indian word, but for the life of me I can't
remember what it means. Maybe some of our other Scouters on the list (
Yes YOU Terry Slade) can tell us what it means.
Reguardless of what you call it......try to get as many of your boys that
are eligable to attend. You will be amazed at the difference they will
make in the operation and entheusiasm of your troop.
After the local JLT....by all means send boys to National Junion Leader
Training at Philmont, even if it means passing the hat at the troop
committee to pay for it if the boy can't manage the fee...you will be
repaid 10-fold in better leadership.
