Jim, I generaly agree with you. To me Boys' Life by far not the magazine it
used to be. There is little hands on projects to do. However, I think it may
reflect our society which has become a throw away (go buy it don't make it)
culture. I really enjoy my old Boys' Life magazines and my collections of
Boys' Life Reprint pamphlets.
Also Green Bar Bill ( Bill Hillcourt) was to me an absolute genius. He belongs
in my opinion right up there with BP, Seton, West, Beard in scouting history.
Wonder if the new handbook will give him his do?

PS You had to bring up thinning hair didn't you! I just had a very short
haircut and was it ever an eyeopener! Also I turn 50 early next year on a
troop meeting night! Such luck! If my scouts every find out I'm dead!!!!!!!
