That's a great idea. Librarian in many Troops is a real "do nothing but
have a job that qualifies for advancement" position.
However, he could skip the "typing up" part by just checking my site for
the changes and doing a "cut & paste". We also list some of the
undocumented changes that might get missed, since many people let me
know when something is missed or an error occurs. A word of advice: The
list of changes on the inside front cover of the book each year usually
is NOT complete. In '95 (Photography & Wilderness Survival), '96
(Camping), and '98 (Soil & Water Conservation) merit badges were changed
without being listed. And sometimes an editor will remove something
that should NOT have been removed. (like the CPR requirement deleted
from Lifesaving in '95 - restored in '98). My site notes those when we
