I have the same problem. My council (from when I was a Boy Scout) was merged
with two others and all the pre-merger records have disappeared. I was trying
to get some historical information for a Roast, from the time when my Dad was
a Scout in the same troop I was in. It's all gone. I still have my council
strip though - a collectors item now :).
