The only Boy Scout Division rank that a Scout or Scouter should
wear after his 18th birthday is the Eagle knot, regardless of youth
status in the Order of the Arrow.

I'm going to adjust this question to, "Are Venturers allowed to wear
Scout rank badges?". Explorers are no longer a part of the BSA, Inc.,
and should not wear Boy Scouts of America issue uniforms or insignia
(other thann Learning for Life items). On the Venturing List, we had
a discussion about wearing Boy Scout Division rank patches on Venturing
(green) uniforms, and the consensus was thay they could, in
accordance with uniforming guidelines. In other words, those ranks,
except for the Eagle knot, need to come off after they turn 18, even
though they aree still youth Venturers.
