Au contraire. The boy may work on Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class all
at the same time. There is no requirement, nor intent skipped over. I did a
SM Conference for 2c, the boy went to his BOR for 2c, passed, came back to me,
we did a SMC for 1c, and then the boy went to his BOR for 1c. Nothing lost.
Adding a week between BOR's is clearly adding a local requirement to the
proceedure. As I understand it, that's a Howdy-Doody no-no. ;>) I agree, it
might be a stretch to do all three, but following the above proceedure, nothing
is lost. Not four requirements, not even one. I just reviewd the requirments,
and I do not see one that says, "Schedule a BOR at least a week in advance."
Another added requirement??? Tsk, tsk. Perhaps I was lucky, I always had a
host of registered Committee Members hanging around. What I had trouble with
was getting the Advancement Chairman to every meeting. He is the Veternarian
for Sea World. A busy guy.
