No, you are not. This is quite common for Den meetings (and Patrol
meetings for Boy Scouts). As long as there is more than one boy present,
or at least one other adult (and your wife should certainly qualify in
that role!), there is no violation of YPP or any other rule I'm aware
of. Ask for the citation of the 'rule' you're allegedly 'violating'.
If this information is from someone outside the unit, this should end
the issue. If it is from a Scouter within the unit, or if the Cubmaster
and/or committee decides to enforce this 'rule', you may need to seek
clarification from the UC or someone at the district or council.
