Hopefully a Daily Scouts-Lr wrote already and you
are back from a Fun Campout. Digest mode, and TCU
JonE's reasonable list management rules, makes
it hard for many of us to see notes like yours =
until far after your pressing question.
Your Council probably asked you all the right =
questions including age and registration status
of the leaders driving and going along. You probably =
also had to fill out or fax it a Local Tour Permit.
Your CC should get the Guide to Safe Scouting
from the Council staff or the DE so you can
read the requirements yourself as new situations
and campouts occur.
Beyond Saying "That's It"
o It is GREAT that your women are going with the =
scouts so they have the opportunity to CampOut.
o You should see if you can start working to get
more of the male parents or leaders involved.
-Certain natural situations, boy talk, and stuff
happen where a male could be an asset to your =
scout program in ways I can't mention, for fear
of re-starting a reoccurent sensitive subject, =
yet you probably can guess.
-So push some of these guys, in piles of ways, =
to get involved to assist your/their troop.
YiS, IMHO, and may we each attempt to live the SO,SL,SS,SM
