In reading this, I thought, "Oh Ohhh, I didn't `splain it well enough".
What I am trying to describe is a Live, "Scouts-L for Boys"..Cubs, Boy
Scouts, etc., where any boy could find help from a peer. This would be a
real-time "chat format" akin to ICQ.
Because many young lads are reticent to admit they are "stuck" with
something. And, they become easily discouraged. With a program such as
this, Scout "A" could sit down at the computer, search a list for a
"Scout B" who has agreed to "tutor" other boys, call him and begin.
Who knows, the two could become great lifetime pals!
Forgive the obvious stub of my non "cyberly inclined" toe, but I thought
I would try to clarify this before everyone wonders if I "Read The
List". You bet I do. Scouts-L is without question one of the finest
resources I have come across in my brief time "on-line"...but, it is
still an email, posting situation.
Having hopefully dug myself out of that hole, I would like to again ask.
Is there anywhere on the WWW, where there is a site such as this?
Thanks for your ear, I am going to find a book on 'puter terms!
